Lovely September morning from our home !🧡 This morning the lake was absolutely still and the maples at our backyard had turned more deeper red. There's still summer in France according to my Insta friends Jeska @lobsterandswan but here in Finland we're starting to dig our winter clothing from the storage. This change of seasons makes summer people anxious and going for those websites about renting houses from warmer places.😄 This kind of "I wish I was somewhere else " thinking actually is quite common whether it's a job, some boring lecture or a traffic jam. At most of the cases we can't change it, and that consumes our energy and disturbs our calm and loving presence. Yesterday I almost got hit by my cycling obstetrician, a lady that had helped me deliver my two children. The road was wide, actually it was a walking boulevard, but she gave me with my strollers and two boys a nasty look and an eye roll. Obviously she didn't recognise me but for me it was a shock to see this side of her. She didn't apologise, just cycled away. What would you have thought in that situation? For a second I was upset, but then I was able to see the humanity in her behaviour and felt very compassion for her. When we ground ourselves to the moment and let it be just the way it is, we'll take a role of a observes and nothing coming from the outside can't really shake it. Learning to relief your stress is the first step in that rocky path and it gets smoother and smoother day by day. The reason why I bring this up, is the ayurvedic September theme we're are having in my Insta. One mayor part of this philosophy is embracing the change of seasons for sure, but also strengthening your inner calmness with meditation. If you haven't tried it yet, make this weekend for getting to know it little bit better! Start by closing your eyes and imagining the universe inside of you. 🙏🌞🧡 Thank you. .
