In love with this view of Marina Bay Sands and the Super Trees at Gardens by the Bay 😍
Got that Fri-yay feeling! Another week done and dusted (and dare I say it, inching closer to the end of the year). Whatever you get up to this weekend, hope it’s a good one! 📷: Christopher Wong for @sundaybedding .co and @publicculture.co

#65 – Cloud Forest @ Gardens By The Bay #LIQUIDWEEKENDS Conceptualised in 2005 as a key component of the city-state’s “City in a Garden” vision, Gardens By The Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares in the Central Region of Singapore, right by the stunning waterfront of Marina Bay. The Cloud Forest is one of the two conservatories that sits at the conservatory complex at Gardens By The Bay. At 0.8 hectares, it is the smaller of the two conservatories. Temperatures inside The Cloud Forest is kept within 23-25 degrees celsius to replicate the cool moist condition found in tropical mountain regions.
An indoor 35 metre waterfall greets visitors with a gush of cool air as they enter. Stepping into The Cloud Forest will instantaneously transport you into a dense, tropical, mystical mountainous landscape. Take a stroll on the elevated Treetop Walk to enjoy the breathtaking views of the greenery enveloping you.
Enjoy an immersive experience at the Secret Garden located at the base of the waterfall which features representations of the lime stone forest and caves before you exit the dome.
Do stop by The Cloud Forest this weekend and be mesmerised by the stunning architectural masterpieces, lush foliage and artsy floral arrangements.
Known for its pristine gardens and luxurious experiences, Singapore is also known for its multiculturalism - which explains why it has some of the world's best fusion food. Home to Chinese, Malaysians and Indians you'll find aspects of each distinct culture throughout the city-state, like this Hindu temple. 📸 @singapour.tourisme
Singapore, the city in a garden🌿
These are the Supertrees, which have a magical role in the sustainability of the Gardens by the Bay. Some have panels on their canopies that harvest solar energy, then used at night for lighting up the garden, and others are used as ventilation as part of the cooling system of the conservatories.🌳🌱🍃
