Built both as a madhana (mosque tower) and a tower symbolizing victory and glory, it was also part of the town’s principal mosque Bais Darwaza Masjid which today is also popularly called the Bari Masjid and displayed the power of the ruling class and aimed at propagating the new religion of Islam in the early 14th century.

If there is one place that we would go back to in a heartbeat, then it is this small mountain village.A long walk through this place has got to be one of our best travel moments so far.The air here is unbelievably fresh(one of the reasons is because this village is car free) and every inch is full of nature.
After my first trip since the beginning of March, I want to give a few thoughts on my experiences during my trip. Things that stood out as different from what I would normally experience during my travels: - For the time being there are no longer never ending lines at the TSA checkpoints - Depending on which airport you are flying from, TSA precheck may or may not be available - You can now sense the anxiety and fear in the TSA agents, who definitely aren’t as interested in what you are transporting as they were before - Expect to see far less people in the terminal than you did 3 months ago. In fact the airport I traveled into was like a ghost town - Mask are the norm now, expect to see 60-70% of people wearing them in the terminal and almost everyone wearing them on the plane (yes I know that airlines mandate them, but trust me there is always that one person 🙄) - There is now an eerie silence throughout the airport - At this point don’t expect to be able to sit down at a restaurant in the airport, you’ll be lucky to find one open that’s not fast food - When boarding starts, you will no longer find everyone getting in line as soon as preboarding starts (there are always silver linings 😂) - Once on the plane there is definitely a heightened sense of awareness to everything and everyone. You’ll find yourself noticing every cough, sneeze, clearing of a throat, hell who am I kidding every deeper than normal breath - There is no longer consistent beverage service, though my flights were short, it might still occur on longer flights. ( #bringbackthebiscoffcookies ) - That person that insisted on talking to you even if you put on headphones and closed your eyes, now just sits down and looks ahead nervously - Everyone, even those who say COVID-19 is a hoax shows signs of anxiety and distress as the walk through the airport - The hotels have an entire new set of rules, it is definitely in your best interest to call the hotel that you are staying at ahead of time to see what their new policies and procedures are - Rental cars may or may not be available, but they are a much better option than Uber or Taxis right now. I had issues with picking
