To go the adventure way doesn’t always mean being gone. Being connected to a community of friends and family is so important and part of the adventure as well. Trying to take some time to slow down as much as we can this season and enjoy the holidays with those people in our life. If you aren’t “traveling” much this season- explore your neighborhood, your town, city, the town next door, drive around and find some Christmas lights, have a meal with your neighbor. Adventure in your own backyard! Enjoy the moment you are in.
What are some of your favorite Holiday traditions?
So in love with this ornament from @ess_lettering !
We headed out from the beach the day a massive storm blew in. We stopped for a quick look at the ocean and almost got blown over.
We’re now in northern VA visiting @westonsb and chose to venture into DC yesterday to visit some old haunts. DC is still beautiful, but experiencing the commute from NOVA wIth two toddlers lacking sleep was maybe a little too ambitious. Next time, maybe a adult only trip @hlcrate? 😊
Truth is, I’m wildly independent...sometimes to a fault. I became this way in the past few years as I traveled solo & single. Before, I would feel the need to always have someone. As I grew more independent, this independence became an issue in relationships & I’d push people away. I told myself I didn’t want to date again, due to the fear of losing myself in another person. But then you came along... —————————————————
As I lay here in bed, on another one of my solo contracts, I can’t help but feel gratitude while also missing my person. In the past 2 years we’ve been together, he’s wholeheartedly supported my independence with so much love & it’s made our time together so much more special. I feel like everyone’s “perfect” relationship will look different, but I’m so thankful for all the things that happened to bring us together. Miss you like crazy, but I’ll see ya again soon!🥰💙
If there’s one thing I believe in truly and fully it’s this:
Do hard things. Alone.
Then do hard things, but with others. Then keep doing both.

Some buzz 🐝 buzz about Instagram removing likes...⠀
My first inclination was towards one of acceptance, to be honest. I’ve always experienced (and continue to experience) the effect of instant gratification via social media, and trust me, after several years of psychology courses, I can tell you: it only proves detrimental to individuals and society.⠀
What do you think? Will they actually go through with it? 🍁
It’s always overwhelming how much this woman inspires me. She’s my muse, my source of inspiration. I’m looking forward to future projects together with her. Wait for us - we planned something for you! These shots are my most favourite ones.
