Tears in my eyes, chasing Ponce de León's phantoms
So filled with hope, I can taste mythical fountains
False hope, perhaps, but the truth never got in my way
Before now, feel the sting, feeling time, bearing down ✨
ZAMAN TÜNELİNDEN...(bir çığlıktır mazi)
Gece boyu devam eden kar fırtınasını izlerken, yorgun düşüp uyuyakalan dağcı kan kırmızı çadırın bacasından su damlası gibi sızan günışığıyla yavaşça gözlerini araladı
Dinlenmek için uygun bulup indirdiği dağ eteğindeki kuzey modülünün girişine karlar bembeyaz bir duvar örmüştü

First night in the van!! All our katunda was uplifted yesterday so we had our first night on our driveway- nothing quite like kickstarting our journey with our neighbours weeds tickling our caravan door.
I went off to my last gym session with the most amazing sunrise and returned with fresh coffee to find kids all snuggled with Mike. So far so good right? Wrong. Chaos ensued as we tried to keep a leash on the hooligans but also finish up the house for hand over at 11. Thankfully after my days of scrubbing (sticky fingers on a thousand walls anyone!?) I had a few errands to run( 💅 💁♀️)while Mike wrapped up the handover with our landy.
12pm on the dot we loaded the kids and set off...to Kmart, because we forgot a toaster- and these kids bloody love vegemite toast. Despite leaving with a llama, 2 absolutely necessary "this is how we roll" camper mugs and a 4th child who wanted to join our circus, we called it a success and went for Nandos and Cold Rock ice cream. We stopped to play a bit of street piano and none of the kids wore shoes (knew they'd inherited some African blood somewhere 🤦♀️) and then finally jumped back into the car to our first stop, Kennett River.
Deep in ice cream comas the kids didn't make a peep and we got to our camp site in a couple of hours. Mike and I even managed to finally talk...turns out neither of us have a plan for this trip, which is exactly how we like it! *Distance travelled yesterday - 150km*
