How are you babes giving back this holiday? ♥️🎁 Lemme know in the comments below!
This is my favorite part of the house. Honestly I would keep all these decorations up year round. 🎄 I have complete OCD with ornament placement and this year was the year that my oldest wanted to help decorate the tree. It was glorious! I took a step back and realized that my child is going to remember us hanging ornaments and be proud he helped. 🤗 so everything is where he told me to put it and that’s where it stayed.
I started this tradition where Santa brings the kids a new ornament every year. I love everything to match and be uniform with all aspects of life (even more so for decorating) and my tree is filled with mismatching ornaments but more importantly memories. First Christmas ornaments we made together, Hawaii ornaments, old glass Disney ornaments passed down to me, and shoes from the kids. This is our Christmas now, mismatched and full of love. ❤️
Is it almost #Thanksgiving or is it #Christmas already?
Let me say this right now before my mom, aunts, or anyone rips me apart: I love everything about Thanksgiving & Christmas but I’M NOT THE GRINCH! I’m just not into the Christmas trees and lights being up, & music playing before Everything about Thanksgiving and Christmas are different in my eyes. Of course statistics say that people who have their trees and lights up early are happier people. I get that and want them do whatever makes them happy and in the #holiday spirit, but that’s not what my point is here. The #family gatherings and amazing food is great, but Im talking about 2 separate holidays and the differences between them.
1️⃣The colors! Thanksgiving is oranges and brown. Christmas is red, green, & white.
2️⃣The music! Christmas has the #bells 🔔 a dinging & songs about mama, #Santa sleds 🛷 deer 🦌 & #snow . Thanksgiving is classic country music w/a little new music sprinkled in.
3️⃣The decour! Thanksgiving is pumkins, hay bales, leaves changing colors,
Christmas is missletoe, snow, lights, ornaments.
4️⃣The Food! Thanksgiving is #Turkey , #Ham , Stuffing, Mashed potatoes, Cranbery sauce, & #Pumpkin pie. Christmas is #eggnog , pies, cakes, & some meat!
5️⃣The movies! Thanksgiving is usually the guys watching football & basketball with the ladies drinking wine & being all artsy on Pinterest. Christmas has the best movies. A Christmas Story, classic! Santa Claus, heater! The Grinch (Jim Carrey). Elf, banger! All ONE HUNDRED THRITY-SIX Hallmark Christmas movies! - #6 was the entire purpose of this post. Lastnight I get home from the gym, turn on the TV to relax, start flipping through the stations, & boom, my 2 favorites movies are coming on back to back, Home Alone 1 & 2 (Never watched the 3rd movie because that kid wasn’t a McCallister). I feel like December 1st is the OFFICAL start date for movies on TV, I sat down & watch both. As I’m watching I start to think about all the punishment Kevin puts on Ole’ Harry & Marv. So my question to whoever has continued reading my rambling, who got the worse punishment?
P.S. If you have dont watch Home Alone 1 & 2 every year, you aren’t to be trusted!

Crudités platters are an easy way to pacify those hungry guests if you’re running a little behind on your #Thanksgiving meal prep.
While your shopping for your thanksgiving groceries, just grab a few extra veggies and you’ll be set for any of those early birds. 😆😜
