MORE than just a selfie goldmine, The Giant’s Causeway is an UNESCO World Heritage Site made up of 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns.
Across the sea, there is a similar site on the Scottish shoreline. A legend connects the two sites where an Irish and Scottish Giant challenged each other to a fight. After being tricked into thinking he was the smaller of the two, the Scottish giant destroyed the middle of the Causeway, so the Irish giant could not pursue him.
In truth, the Causeway is a result of intense volcanic activity. But, the Irish are good storytellers. 😉

Congratulations are in order for @jonathanbenno , a member of our SDA ohana. @Pete_Wells’ @NYTimes’ story named Michelin-starred @Bennorestaurant one of the top 10 restaurants in New York.
Warning: reading this article will make your mouth water. Wells says “Just when you’ve decided you’ve never tasted a more beautifully seared duck breast, you notice that it was served beside a shatteringly thin envelope of savory pie, North African in inspiration, wonderful to eat and tricky to make.” Our SDA ohana is so proud of Jonathon for his accomplishment. Liverpool ➡ Berlin
Sooo...Berlin round 2 for 2019 was amazing! I got to see the Brandenburg Gate in all its glory this time too. To think that this place was a no-man's land over 30 years ago sealed off by the Berlin wall...now it's a happy place with lots of tourists enjoying themselves! More photos of Berlin to come...|📷S

Day 12 ~ Singapore, Singapore 🇸🇬 From one home to the next. Singapore is such a vibrant city with so many things to do, see, and eat. It has been a dream of 6 years to move here and it’s safe to say I’m loving every second. What a way to round out my 2019 #12daysofwanderlust - Let me know if you want to come and visit!
From the tickle fights at night to the sneaking nose kisses to the binge eating cinnamon rolls to the dreaming chats on our car rides... I wouldn’t wanna do this life with anyone else. 🌿 photo credits: @eastlynandjoshua
KAUAI, HI | The Situation. These drinks were both so delish! I’m always hesitant about mixed drinks because of how sweet they can be but the @sheratonkauai’s Lava Flow was filled with fresh strawberry flavor and the Lilikoi Lemonade was refreshing and nicely tart. 🍹

Что меня вдохновляет?
Меня вдохновляют люди и их путь к мечте✨
Something you might not know about me...I am not out taking pictures above and below the water everyday. I am also a middle school science teacher! It is rewarding, but also very exhausting. Continuing to pursue my creative passions in the arts fills me up when being an adult seems likes it’s just too much. I think it’s important in life to make time for nature. It truly is what gives us life and connects us all.
I lived in Georgetown in the late 70s, about four houses down from the steps.

"An email for a $440 round trip fare landed in my inbox, and despite having just returned from Spain with an approaching trip to Greece and Rome and a six-hour layover each way, I bought two tickets.✨
Off we went on the adventure! I visited Laos because I wanted to take a boat down the Mekong river, and the rest of it just followed." -- Pamela Barsky 🙌
With winter always comes extra time at home, visiting with friends, staying inside and being cozy, puzzles, and reading. And you know…it’s not hard on the eyes either.
Unless there is a blizzard and you can’t see the road 😜
Feeling super grateful for this season! What’s your favorite thing about Winter?

Da bambina ne avrei voluto uno tutto mio. Da grande... pure. Ma questo desiderio dovrà aspettare 😂.
Stamattina niente libri (da leggere o da scrivere), niente cell e niente mail. Stamattina a Castiadas.

This is probably the most breathtaking spot in all of Vernazza 🌈 .
I’ve seen this place on instagram sooo many times and decided I must see it for myself when I go there 🙌🏼 Well it was no easy task since we got lost so many times trying to find it but at last we got there 😅 So, for anyone wanting to visit, this is how to get to this exact spot...you purchase the train and hiking trails ticket for about €16 from the train station and that gives you unlimited access to trains and trails to get from one town to the other. This is the trail that connects Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare together. Don’t worry if you didnt purchase this ticket from the train station, you can purchase it at the beginning of each trail. Once you arrive at this spot (compare it with a picture on your phone), this is where it gets tricky 😛 What no one mentions is that you need to jump a fence and land 2m below which does not as sound scary but remember you are on the side of a cliff! It was well worth it though cause the views are crazy beautiful 😍
Would you do something crazy if it means you get the perfect shot?
