Here's a flashback to the first time I summited Middle Teton, also the first time I climbed with an ice axe and crampons. This is the view looking NWish towards the South and North Fork of Cascade Canyon and out into Idaho.
I have thousands of images from the 4 years I spent in JH, just in case you're wondering 🤙
"Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be." - Abraham Lincoln 🌻
Happiness can sometimes be seen as something fickle or unattainable. We often find ourselves in moments of self doubt or absorbed by negative atmospheres that we fail to see the positive side to it. We get so caught up in the big things and end goals that we tend to forget the little things that make us happy; reading a good book, eating a delicious meal, listening to a favourite song, watching an entertaining movie/video, scrapbooking, catching up with a friend. We need to focus on these things more. If you're having a bad day, remember the things you did this week that made you smile. 💚 I personally find that I am most happy when I am walking through nature, with only the sounds of wind through the trees and birds chirping and the crunch of twigs beneath my feet. I don't get to do this very often, so a much more accessible source of happiness for me is working on a personal project that I am passionate about. I like to be able to focus on it, keeping myself calm and in control, and enjoy pumping my creativity into every aspect of it. 🌱🖌️ What is something you do that helps make you calm or happy?
During the cold desert night, the roadrunner lowers its body temperature slightly, going into a slight torpor to conserve energy. To warm itself during the day, the roadrunner exposes dark patches of skin on its back to the sun. 🌞

Şimdi konuşmuyorum, seneler sonra da konuşmayacağım. Hiçbir zaman karşılarına geçip intikam almayacağım...
Düştüklerinde iyi olmuş bile demeyeceğim. Benim kelimelerim sesimden çıkıp kimseye çarpmayacak.
Keşke bunun anlamını biraz olsun bilseydiniz.
