This resort property adhering to Naturopathy treatments is blessed with a panoramic view. As the site was quite inaccessible it was felt that the building materials as far as possible should be sourced from the local environs. Subsequently the stone for the foundation came from the site itself, and the quarry created was subsequently converted into a natural water feature. The walls were made with stabilized mud bricks which were made in situ. The wood was sourced from jungle trees growing within the neighborhood. The roof posed to be very challenging as owing to the strong breeze prevailing in that area the roof needed to be anchored firmly to the structure and hence the choice boiled down to a metal sheet coated with a sand aggregate which when laid resembled coconut thatch. Emphasis in the planning was to maximize on the views on three sides as well as respecting the steeply contoured site by locating the various structures appropriately. The interiors reflected the natural material used in the structure with polished cement floors, walls of exposed mud brick and untreated wooden ceilings. The emphasize being to tread softly with Nature playing a dominant role.
Nature is real Beauty!! It's almost one year, we went on trip. But the memories are still alive in photos of nature and real earth beauty.
Sometimes we require trip to relax ourselves from daily routine life and probably it's a trip from we can know ourselves.
