Throwback to that time I actually convinced one of my friends to fly a sandwich across the country for me. She nearly fought TSA for this drunk chicken parm and then further humored me to capture these beauties. Thanks @leah_claire! Can’t wait til we can adventure when we’re both healed and healthy. 😅
Sunsets in Fiji are an absolute treat for the eyes - stunning, calming and exciting all at the same time. The clouds are insanely startling, and no filter is ever needed in this beautiful country 🏖💙 📍Westin Denarau
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
In Robert Louis Stevensons’ 1878 novel «An Inland Voyage», he and a friend canoed his way from Belgium to Paris. He wrote when he arrived for a night stop « Although we came late for dinner, the company at table treated us to sparkling wine. «That is how we are in France» said one. «Those who sit down with us are our friends.»
Perhaps one day I’ll take that trip and tie up here at the end. It’s got to be more interesting than #greatbritishrailwayjourneys
Always chasing waterfalls! This was one of my first hikes on my trip to Georgia. Hiking the 600-steps staircase was something I quite enjoyed. Such a nice and private hike to find this stunning view of the waterfall. I could definitely say Cherokee Falls was one of my favorite waterfalls in Georgia. #HectorGrass#CherokeeFalls #GeorgiaHikingTrip #CloudlandCanyonStatePark
