The best photos tend to be the ones I drive back for. On this day, I drove all around the AV in search of a compelling subject. My favorite playlist accompanied me in my search; these days I prefer music over the sound of my own thoughts. This day trip reminded me about something I already knew: the things you long for find you when you stop searching for them.

The Intramuros section of Manila was our favourite. It was full of history, food, and some locals celebrating a birthday (swipe right)
We felt totally safe during our time in Manila (but we also didn’t go too far at night). Our GrabCar driver told us things are much better now “compared to before”. I’m going to save this rant for a later date... 🙊🙈

The flying Ford Anglia is a Muggle car that has had its interior magically expanded by Arthur Weasley. The Weasley family and Harry use the car to drive to King’s Cross to catch the Hogwarts Express. When the barrier to the platform seals, stopping Harry and Ron from getting onto the train, the boys use the car to fly to Hogwarts.
