“Blue hydrangeas, cold cash divine,
Cashmere, cologne and white sunshine” - Lana 💕
Da Lat is also known as the city of flowers and today we visited the Valley of Love, famous for the garden of roses, field of hydrangeas, purple lavender and many other colourful flowers which I don’t know the name of. Da lat is way up in the mountains northeast of Ho Chi Minh, and much colder than down by the coast which is refreshing (although I still got sunburnt today). The city has so many places to visit, waterfalls to swim in, mountains to climb, maze bars to get lost in, crazy houses to see and of course coffee shops to watch the world go by! I think we’ll end up spending a bit of time here 😌
Woke up at 5AM chasing some of the prime destinations in Bohol before heading to Siquijor. Last stop’s the man-made forest and damn, it’s more beautiful seeing this in person than the ones I’ve seen online. Also, it’s less crowded so I easily managed to pull off a quick shoot.

Major throwback to my most unforgettable moment from last year: Annapurna Base Camp Trekking (4.130). The long journey to Nepal started from India by land. I can tell you that it’s not gonna be an easy one from the start. It took me days🤪 (and it’s not that kind of buses or trains hop-on-hop-off that you would expect to get to Pokhara🙃). When I finally set my foot on the mountain, I also have to deal with the crazy tracks and the altitude sickness as well. (I, somehow didn’t really understand why would I put myself into such circumtanses). I remember my mouth kept mumbling to myself "Carpe diem, Velly! Carpe diem, you lazy ass!" lol
As the days passed, the Himalayas finally showed me her magic and wonder. I could feel the excitement in my blood. All the complaining I told you all about finally paid off (YEAY). The feeling was real, eventhough I can’t describe what it was.
Now, I have nothing but the feeling of highest gratitude. I’m very lucky to has finally filled up one of my bucket lists.
Tahun depan pengen lagi dapetin moment setidakterlupakan seperti ini. Namibia sounds really exciting and tempting. I want to play all my Bon Iver’s songs there and think about life 🍑 #email@example.com

The entire Guatemalan territory is protected or partially protected, and there are large natural parks rich in flora (including some of the rarest orchids in the world) and fauna (from the armadillo and the puma, to the quetzal, the colorful bird symbol of the country). Go on a guided nature walk to learn about the geologic forces at work inside Guatemala’s volcanoes, or the ecology of the surrounding rainforests. The cloud forest here has rare species of flora and fauna, and thrives in the same high-altitude humidity as coffee plants. But Guatemala’s landscape is more than just interesting plants – the jungle here hides the ruins of Maya cities, and the very beginnings of Guatemalan civilization. 😏 @amatiquebay @valiagabrielsandals @hm
