The face of a boy who is getting more tests done. 😕
He is now on modified cyclosporine (an immunosuppressant) as well as the Budesonide.
Starting yesterday out of the blue is now frantically trying to eat his own feces (the old hard ones I haven't gotten around fo picking up yet). He is also gassy and losing weight and is still having a lot of BM during the day. He's also woken me up in the middle of the night a few times bc he needs to go out.
All of these are signs of EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency). I emailed his IMS and she said its very low on her list but it doesn't hurt to rule out.
It's luckily a very simple blood test that will also test his folate and B12 levels so he's coming in to work with me tomorrow for that.
This one warms my heart. I took a nap on my lunch break and woke up like this. Dogs are the most precious creatures and I would be lost without this one. Especially with a heart still healing from the loss of Hudson. Thank you Callaway...
