Kelly is on vacation this week, so we took a day trip through southern Wyoming and back down through Medicine Bow, Routt and Arapahoe National Forests. Here's some pictures:
They start in Cheyenne, which was mostly scrub-land and plains. Then a couple pictures of rocks in Laramie and the Medicine Bow range (I think) in the distance. Then pictures of the forests where it was misty and rainy and very cool. Literally; it was 80 degrees when we left WY and 50 degrees up at Ute Pass. By the time we reached the Eisenhower tunnel the rain turned icy. We left around 7:30am and got home 12 hours later, and the weather was in the 80s. It was a rollercoaster of a trip and we all had so much fun!
Also, since it's Wednesday, I included our weekly dose of Memphis Logic at the end. She pulled her blanket on top of both our feet so she could give us equal amounts of snuggles 😉
After saying I wouldn’t do it again.. I’m here to say “OpsI did it again” I packed a small suitcase, snacks, the finer things in life and my pet fish, Hope, in my little Corolla then proceeded to drive 22 hours to the sunshine state. Unlike the first time I took this drive in 2017, I’m not running from or to anything. This time felt more like the beginning to Chapter 1 to my self written never ending novel Journey to self. #journey#art#acrylic#paint#palmtrees#new#artoftheday#artist#yellow#florida#roadtrip#drive
