Oww I little bit of colour for the feed this evening! How wonderful is the burnt orange kitchen? I am usually much more into the neutrals rather than bold bright colour, but this is just lovely. I love it! 🍊🧡🍊🧡 •

Real question: If I invited you over to my house for wine and cheese and asked you to sit in a cane or wicker chair for a few hours, would you hate me?
I’m literally obsessed with the look of these and need to add two chairs opposite our couch for entertaining, but I don’t want you guys to be uncomfortable!
This is the Swiss architect Pierre Jeanneret’s Chandigarh teak-and-cane chair. It was designed in the 1950’s and has been gaining momentum in the last few years with designers and stylists. What do you think?

People living under lockdown are getting up later, data from fitness devices suggests.
Extra-vivid dreams are more likely, with stress the probable cause.
Many people are struggling to sleep altogether, and prescriptions for insomnia have risen.
How have you been sleeping lately?
The answer is likely to depend on how much the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has upturned your life.
Data from sleep scientists, pollsters, social media and even electricity meters all point to the same thing: we are sleeping differently – often for longer, but often poorly, too. Many people are also experiencing strange dreams.

Muy buenas tardes! 🙋🏻 𝕔𝕒𝕓𝕖𝕔𝕖𝕣𝕠 𝕕𝕖 𝕠𝕓𝕣𝕒
It’s completely unbelievable that June begins on Monday. And with June comes the official start of summer. It seems that time has simultaneously stood still and flown by this Spring. Who knew that could be possible? 🕰
In celebration of slower summer days with your people and easy, “throw some things together” meals to keep them fed, we are featuring some of our favorite Storybook Kitchens, a few simple tips for updating your own kitchen without demo or reno and summer recipes with minimal prep. Here’s a sweet one for your weekend!
•Your fave slicing tomato variety (Cherokee purples are my favorite...but it’s too early!)
•Fresh mozzarella slices (in the cooler of the fancy cheese section of the grocery store)
•Fresh Basil leaves (SBKitchenTip: roll up a larger basil leaf from top to bottom and slice...makes “ribbons” of fragrant basil)
•EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
•Good quality balsamic vinegar (you can also make a reduction to keep in the fridge if you have time...I did not.)
•Dash of Kosher salt
1. Slice tomatoes and arrange on plate
2. Layer with fresh mozzarella
3. Sprinkle with small basil leaves or “ribbons”
4. Top with salt and pepper
5. Drizzle EVOO and Balsamic
6. Enjoy for lunch, appetizer or a snack!
