Most web-based operators also just act as booking agents for other companies' products—where's the personal touch? Where's the first-hand experience?
Outgoing Adventures researches, designs, markets and executes its own tours. We have 20 years' experience in the small-group travel biz; when you e-mail or call us, you are going straight (so to speak) to the source.
We look forward to welcoming you back for tours in the near future. Stay healthy and safe until then.

Who else is revisiting photos from tours in the past?
We love this slide from Martin, @travelbug1970. "Exploring the ‘Dogon Country’ region of south-central Mali along the Bandiagara Escarpment. A fascinating place of age-old social traditions, masks, feasts, rituals, and ceremonies." #adventuresabroad #mali#1999#dogon .
Around this time last year, I would have been sifting through a thousand pictures from a trip to Singapore and Bali with my twin sister @jessicagoodwinphoto and already dreaming of the next trip. Things got put on hold a bit, but not forever (fingers crossed).
This was during a rainstorm where we rode our scooter through water up to the foot wells to go to a grocery store to get food for Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence, when literally everything would be closed for 24 hours. And when I say “everything” I don’t mean “everything except essential businesses like for a global viral pandemic”. I mean everything like literally EVERYTHING, stores, airports, public transit, restaurants, even TV and the Internet...all of it shut completely down. It was a totally magical and surreal experience, and even the prep was an adventure.
Take me back to riding two to a scooter in a rainstorm with Jess hiding under my rain poncho, navigating blind, using questionable GPS, and tapping me on the shoulder to tell me when to turn!
One of the bonuses of escaping to @lekkerhousejt for more space during the pandemic was that it provided the perfect backdrop for a recent shoot.
Check out my new photos for the very talented @pheintz’s line of summer quilts. Fashioned from leftover materials from his interior design projects, these handmade quilts are sustainably made and inspired by designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. More to come soon!
