Today, I wanna talk about Fernvale area in Singapore. I lived here for a year and have many sweet memories. The fresh air, green environment, calm and quiet evening walks and friendly people.
Fernvale is a new and exciting neighborhood of Sengkang New Town in Singapore which is well connected with excellent transport facilities. This area is mainly a residence area and many tourists do not know about it, but there are some wonderful attractions in Fernvale for tourists and residents. One of the best things about this area is the clean, fresh and calm environment. The area is not crowdy and has a lot of green places in the surroundings. Fernvale is also near to Punggol which has many superb tourist attractions.
Fernvale is located near the Sungei Punggol river and the atmosphere of the area is also cooler than many other parts of the country. The LRT which is a small automatic train that circles around the whole area is a superb way to enjoy the whole area from the top. You can take the LRT to Fernvale from the Senkang MRT station. The area is also very near to the Jalan Kayu which is a very famous road for variety of food and bicycle shops. The cricket ground in Fernvale is also a famous and busy sports venue where you can catch a live cricket match most of the time. Entry is free for everyone. Fernvale is around 20-minutes-drive from Changi Airport and Pulau Ubin Island.

The Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel at Downtown Core, Singapore. It opened in 2008, with construction having taken about 2½ years. It carried its first paying passengers on 11 February, had a soft opening to the public on 1 March, and was then officially opened on 15 April. It has 28 air-conditioned capsules, each able to accommodate 28 passengers, and incorporates a three-story terminal building.
One thing to know about me: Iced Tea is my life. It courses through my veins. It keeps me young. I've been drinking it religiously since I was in kindergarten. So, Malaysia and Singapore were amazing experiences for many, many reasons of course, but also because iced tea is EVERYWHERE (and so cheap 😭). There's not a great selection of good iced tea here so this side of me was all new to @issieconnolly and I think I shocked her a bit. But by the end of the trip, she was an iced tea convert so 😌😏 some of the work I have been put down here to do slowly gets done. Also, these pictures aren't even half of the amount of iced tea I had on this trip 😅

【 @girlstyle.sg 】 Adorable Shiba Inu Drinks Available At Taiwan Cafe Will Leave You Pawing For More
Though travelling is out of the question now, we can definitely bookmark these cafes and landmarks that we plan to visit once travel restrictions are lifted. No one can turn away from animals especially when it's an adorable and Instagram-worthy Shiba Inu that's floating on your drink. 😍
If you are an animal lover, then you're bound to melt at the sight of these milk tea lattes decorated with Shiba Inus that will leave you pawing for more. Yes, pun intended.
Located in Taipei lies a local cafe named Mr. R Drinks that serves flavoured milk teas topped with adorable Shiba Inus. In case you are wondering what they truly are, it's actually marshmallows toppers that double-up as a sweetener as they melt in the warm milk tea. 😋
Prices of the drinks are range from TWD 115 to TWD 240. That's about SGD 5 to SGD 11 for an exceptionally cute Instagram-worthy shot. .

Daily disposable contact lenses alone can generate 85 tonnes of discarded blisters in Singapore within a month (dude...a blue whale weights about 105 tonnes and it is the largest living mammal).
So we tried to play around the idea of upcycling one and here’s how it looks – pretty decent yeah?
(P.S. Not for sale, just really bored from #circuitbreaker )

What makes you travel to Modern Big Cities?
Cities, much like people, I feel, have their own personalities that are as fickle and uncertain as ours. So when it's personality clashes with ours, a mutual opinion builds. And I want to stress, I believe, strongly, it's a mutual opinion. We either would love/hate or love-hate each other based on our moods and circumstances. Where there is a mutual love, we belong. Else, we get rejected. The only way to figure this out is to travel and take them on, isn't it?
I had an opinion about traveling to Big cities. A un-factual assessment I had made. Having grown up in a city, a girl, I am, who yearns for the woods and all sounds that are un-city. So naturally, no big city ever made it to my bucket list. So was Singapore.
I agree, the sounds, colors, shapes there were not 'never heard of'. The winds, felt familiar - fluctuating warm and chill. Trees, abundant and similar. People's fears and desires, similar.
It's not a place, travelling to which, one would unearth a long lost past of his that he did not know. It's not a place one would fall instantly in love with it coz of the scenic views of mountains or shorelines.
And yet, I caught myself saying "Gee, wouldn’t this be a nice place to live?!" 😊
Afterall, all it takes is to be an insignificant pedestrian and stroll about with eyes open.
“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields, has the power to move you, if the simple things of Nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive”

On a stroll in ..... Singapore, as you wander around the Bugis area looking at the old style shops there, you may stumble into the renovated Stamford Art Centre that was once a girl's school but has now been rendered into a pristine white building. Right opposite is the Sri Krishnan Temple with its brightly painted facade and statues with a steady stream of visitors going inside. Singapore
