Maiko Nanoha dancing „Kimi ni Ōgi” last June at my work 🌼
I was intrigued with her geometrical obi pattern and she told me it’s called “kantsunagi”. Such pattern looks like a chain and carries a meaning of everlasting peace and harmony.
This particular kantsunagi obi is made of a summer weave and Nanoha got it paired with a sleek silk single-layer kimono with white puffy clouds, red shibori circles, and a delicate butterfly-shaped weave 👘
